ChRiStMaS 2009

so i didnt have my kids for Christmas Eve and didnt get them until 1pm on Christmas day. instead of sleeping in, i spent the night at Emily's!! amazingly enough, Santa knew i was staying there and even left me some surprises!!! when the kids came home, they were soooo excited to see that Santa had even stopped at my apartment for them!! ((thank goodness for my AWESOME & AMAZING friend)) we were SPOILED! i got some kitchen stuff that i needed, clothes, and even some of my favorite spaghetti sauce in my stocking! hahahahh the kids had a GREAT time!! they got way more than they asked for!! lots of clothes, tye got legos, jalair got an Easy Bake Oven, movies, shoes, and i gave them a PS2 with Guitar Hero! we have had so much fun playing!!!

AbEl ChRiStMaS pArTy '09

we had the Abel Christmas party last weekend, and like usual, had a blast! lots of fun, food & catching up to do!! the kids LOVED playing "Dont Eat Santa" and we learned the new game of Speed Scrabble, one of my new favorites! the kids had a great time together!!

...big birthday celebration...

so i turned the big 3-0 last saturday (the 12th) and didnt have anything planned but dinner with Em & Missie. well, we showed up and it was a surprise party! it was soooo fun. had dinner at Happy Sumo, my favorite, then went to Missie's to play Guitar Hero....we had a blast! thanks Em & Missie for the party! i did get the ONE thing i really wanted, a Snuggie!

the kids love to decorate the tree, and they do quite well! i only had to adjust a few!!! we love our little tree, it's perfect for our front room!

so we've had this 8 lb. turkey breast in our freezer for almost a year....Tyerell decided that we should eat it, and it was a great idea! i was scared to cook it, but it turned out well. no basting was required! it was so moist & tasty, i was quite impressed myself! Jalair helped prepared veggies & it was delicious!!

we had a wonderful Thanksgiving again this year, like usual! it was at my parents house, and i had the kids so it was so much fun! tons of yummy food & fun games! we each wrote on a river rock in ONE WORD something we are thankful for....it was fun to see what everyone put. it ranged from siblings names to family, food, bullfighters, coke and someone (the only bro-in-law) even put they were thankful for "BOOTY".....hahahahhaah! it was great fun! it was great to see grandma & grandpa Jones too, we sure miss them!
