Joes Valley 2012

Ever since I met Danny, he's told me about a family reunion that we had to go to. Well, it was this past weekend and we had a great time. It was at Joes Valley, and his family is HUGE!!! We spent one full day at the lake, riding wave runners, boats, canoes, swimming, soaking up sun, another day we went on a long 4 wheeler ride, played horseshoes, sat around the fire, the rest of the time was filled with fun too...lots of crafts for the kids, fishing, riding, and eating!!! Tye LOVES riding 4 wheelers, Jalair loves to ride too! We had a really great time, and his family was so welcoming and nice to be around.

FIESTA DAYS 2012

We attended the Fiesta Days rodeo, because my brother rode. He didn't ride 8 seconds, but it was a pretty good rodeo anyway. We went to the Grand Parade as well, and this year it was actually decent. They had MANY more floats, less baseball teams riding on trailers/boats, and only 100 entries so we weren't watching it until noon! We watched the big fireworks show after the parade on the 24th, this is a yearly tradition for me and my little family. We had a great 24th of July this year!!!

GoLfInG

It was a beautiful course!

Great form, I learn from the best...even though he doesn't take pictures to prove it.

Waiting, watching, hoping it goes in!

Our friend Austin, struggled (this is putting it nice, he shot 12 shots to get it out of the sand) with this sand!
He's always a good sport and so fun to go golfing with!!

We saw lots of animals near the course. This buck, a few snakes, a few chipmunks...it was fun!
Since I met Danny, golfing has become part of my life. He loves to golf! I enjoy it, for about 9 holes then I'm beat...that's how out of shape I am! I have seen some BEAUTIFUL courses so far, Gladstan being #1 on my list! We visited Hobble Creek Golf Course this past weekend, and despite the rain and wind, we had a blast, like usual!

Tyerell's new hobby!!

Great Grandpa and Grandma Jones gave Tyerell a book for his birthday called "Tying Flies" that he fell in love with! He has been tying flies ever since...he amazes me! He can see a fly, and go to tying and next thing I know, he has the exact fly ready to fish with! He is still working on his skills, but in my eyes he does perfect! ;) We are headed to Joe's Valley next weekend, and he's going to try a bunch of his flies out with Danny's cousin. I am super excited for him to put them to use!
Goin' to work!
his favorite color to use is RED!
Some of the ones he has completed!
