UtEs Game #2

This was supposed to be an "easy" game for the Utes, vs. Colorado University so Danny got tickets for us to go. HOWEVER, it was ALL but easy for them! they struggled so bad and it was a hard game to watch. The kicker was the #1 LOOOOOSER on the team! We still had a good time, got there early enough to see the Ute Walk, listen to the band play and just hang out. It was FREEZING cold and windy but still was a great time. Any alone time I get with Danny is AmAzInG!! Tough loss, but still went home with a smile on my face! :)

This year Tye chose to be a caveman, and Jalair a spider. They looked super cute! :) We had a fun night, they spent it with my parents, then came home and did a little more trick-or-treating.

*Utah **UTES** Game*

*awe, we're pretty cute i think!*

*after the sad sad game, we went to Chili's to drink our sorrows away*

*suck suck suck, that's all that was on his mind after watching the Utes play*LOL

*he's sure cute!!!*

*we had some pretty awesome seats, could see everything!*

Like I said before, I gave Danny some Utes football tickets for the Arizona State Game. People predicted it would be a good, close game....and they were right, about the first half anyway. It was all down hill for the Utes in the second half though. Oh well, I had a good time!! First college football game I have been to!! We were treated to rain, sleet, snow, wind, cold, warm, and sunshine...imagine that, living in Utah?!?! LOL We had a real fun time regardless and hope to be able to go to at least one more game this season! :)

FIRST DAY OF JUNIOR HIGH??!

Oh My Gosh....I FEEL SO OLD!! I officially have a junior high student!! Tye started 7th grade this year, and Jalair started 5th grade. So far they absolutely love school...and they always have so I'm not too surprised! Tye LOVES that he gets to choose what he wants for lunch, he's kinda like his mom, and LOVES the Baked Potato Bar! :) Jalair loves her teacher, and has her best friend in her class again this year. I only got pics of them on their first day, but that's all we ever record, right?! ;)

Danny's Birthday Party!!!

Danny's birthday was in August...he has told me for MONTHS that all he wanted for his birthday was to spend time with me, AAAAAAAWWWWWWWW...he also told me that anything Utes would do. So, I went online and bought him some football tickets to the Utes vs Arizona State game, October 8th. I cannot wait to go myself and he was sooooo excited I got tickets for that specific game! I also had taken him to the Sugarland concert that happened before his actual birthday. The night before his birthday I treated him to Ruby River dinner, his favorite!! I made a yummy roast dinner on his birthday, then I had the family all come over for cake and ice cream as well, and he had NOOOOO idea! It was fun to surprise him a little bit. Emily made the awesome birthday cake, which kinda went along with my gift theme...he loved it!

ThE cLaSh Of ThE TiTaNs...15 YeArS!!!

Since I met Danny, in May of this year, he has mentioned the weekend of the monster trucks and told me we were going, no ifs ands or buts. That weekend finally got here....The kids were able to go with us, and we had a blast! We were able to ride in a monster truck, Thumper, get lots of pics next to the huge trucks, the kids sat in the small race cars, Jalair met Rocky the Raccoon. Not sure we are into it as much as he is, or if we'll ever be, but it was definately a good time. Carson was able to go with us for day 2 of the action. Saw lots of rednecks at the Rocky Mountain Raceways, it was definately hot, and the trucks were huge and ran wild! It's defintately one of those things you want to take your kids to, at least once! Thanks Danny for showing us a great time!!! :)

..::ABEL family reunion::..

My mom was in charge of the Abel family reunion this year, and so we went on a campout up at Scofield. We had a blast! It was our only camping trip of this summer. Lots of laughs, games, yummy food, shooting, singing around the campfire, and fishing in the creek. It was great to see the family!!!!

Danny being a brave kid!!

Some of the gorgeous falls!!

He's such a sweet guy...so kind and loving to me. I love it!!

Danny and I have the same weekends without our kids, but for some reason we haven't actually had a weekend without kids for about 6 weeks...so we finally had a whole weekend without little rugrats and we went for a Sunday drive, that was AMAZING!!! We went up to Mirror Lake Highway in the Uintah Mountains, which I've never seen before, and I cannot wait to go back now! Danny wanted to show me where he has camped up there before, and the Provo River Falls, and Bald Mountain....it was absolutely amazing!!! I can't wait to go camp there with him!

an update of the past year...

A lot has happened in the past year...to begin with, I got a new part-time job in April 2010, that lasted about a year and in the past couple of months i have got another job, a full-time one at Santaquin Pharmacy. I absolutely love it there!! I have ZERO work stress and that's how it's supposed to be! :) Tyerell played in the district chess tournament and took 4th place. He went to the state chess tournament and played very well, but got frustrated so we left before he found out what place he took. Jalair has been playing all kinds of sports, basketball, soccer, softball, and she still wants to dance and do gymnastics. She is an all-star in my eyes! She seems to always get on the "Bad News Bears" teams, but she doesnt mind, she is there to have fun! (i have no idea where she learned that, cuz i always want to WIN!!) Tyerell has played tennis, and he does very well. He is trying out new things to find exactly what he wants to do in his free time. They are both growing up so fast, Tyerell is going to start junior high next school season and Jalair will be in 5th grade! I have been playing a lot of softball...I play on a tournament team, which is tons of fun cause we travel around to play ball about twice a month. I will start posting more recent pictures and try to blog once a month or so with current news!
