My Dads big 5-0 birthday party!

We wanted to do something big for my dads 50th birthday party, after all, you only turn the big 5-0 ONCE! We had a surprise birthday dinner set up for The Foundry Grill at Sundace. Everyone had their "own plans" going on that night, and mom had told dad earlier that week that she had reservations for dinner for them Saturday night. So we got up to Sundance early so we could decorate with balloons and stuff. We all dressed in black and it turned out way fun, he seemed to be very surprised! Dinner was delicious and it was good to go out with the family for something like this! Thanks to Em and Meg for all their help preparing!

best Valentine's Day yet!!

Danny and I celebrated Valentine's the weekend before the actual day, just because we were kid-less and wanted to spend some good quality time together doing something new! I made us some yummy shrimp alfredo dinner on Friday night, and gave him some AWESOME cupcakes that I had Emily make. They were both darling and delicious!! I talked Danny out of snowboarding (which he's wanted to do for the past 2 weeks) since neither one of us has been in years and I'm so out of shape and knew a day on the hill would be so boring for him. We decided on tubing up at Soldier Hollow and had the best time EvEr!!! If you haven't done this, with or without kids, YOU NEED TO DO IT! Brought out the kid in Danny and I both! After that we went to dinner at Chili's then played poker with some friends. We have the best time together, no matter what we are doing. He's so good to me, and my kids, and I love that so much about him.

Jazz vs. Kings

Danny has season tickets to the Utah Jazz games...it finally worked out that I could go to a game with him! We had an amazing time...it was a FUN FUN game to watch as it was Jimmer Fredette's first return to Utah to play pro ball! The crowd went wild for Jimmer, though he did choke at the end of the game with an AIR BALL from 3 point range..(it would've won the game for them *cough*cough*)We went to Wing Nutz for some dinner before the game, then rode Trax up to the arena to watch the game. We didn't take ANY pictures of us at the actual game, :( but I promise we were there! hahahah

Basketball 2012

Tye and Jalair are both playing city league basketball this year. They're playing very very well! Hopefully they'll grow taller before next season, that seems to be the biggest hiccup so far this season! Tyerell is on the Bullets and Jalair is on the Swish. They both have great coaches! (Danny is a great 'at-home' coach too!) Jalair is #30 and Tye is #4! ":)

*I*C*E* *F*I*S*H*I*N*G*

Another one of Danny's passions is ice fishing. He talked about it aaaallll summer telling us he couldnt wait to go. We have been a few times this year, the sun was shining, weather was nice and warm and so there really wasn't a reason not to go! I had a blast, but only because of the above mentioned weather conditions. My kids love it and are always asking when they can go again.

**CHRISTMAS 2011**

We had a GrEaT Christmas again this year! Kids were spoiled rotten again and Danny spoiled me too!
Danny had asked me to give him a list of what I wanted for Christmas, so I did. It included Hanes Socks, New Silverware, and on the bottom of the list I had drawn a picture of a ring. Next to the picture I wrote "haha j/k". I had him totally confused from what I understand. So he had a small box, said 'you have to open this one last'. The butterflies started....and that smartass gave me a RINGPOP!!!! I told him I will be much more specific next year! ;)
