Las Vegas
Danny & I decided to go down to Las Vegas for a weekend, Tate was riding in a rodeo there and we didn't have our kids so it all worked out. We left Friday night, after I got off work, at 8pm and the party was just getting started when we arrived in Vegas at midnight, their time, 1am our time. We walked the strip until 4am, slept, then got up and did it all over again! We definately saw a lot of FREAKS! I was amazed! I could just sit on the strip and people watch!! We only gambled a few times, just mainly walked the strip to see everything along the Boulevard. We visited the M&M Factory, the Coke store, the Pyramid, the Las Vegas Outlets, The Bass Pro Shop, Fremont Street, and saw Tate ride in the rodeo. It was the greatest weekend ever! Next time we are just gonna try to make it a 4 day trip! :)

ONE year...and counting!!!
Danny and I have officially dated ONE year!! (I know, it's a MIRACLE) It has been THE BEST year of my life! Danny is such a great person, so understanding, so helpful, so loving, and so easy to get along with! I love spending every minute I can with him! Some of the recent things we have done together are Jazz games, Delicious Dinners, Nights out with friends and he has surprised me a couple of times with FLOWERS! (once at work, and I loved it!) We are looking forward to a weekend out at PF Chang's and then possibly a movie. He's so amazing, and I am SO thankful to have him in our lives!!
He surprised me...had these roses out with a card when I woke up for the day! He's so thoughtful!!

These flowers he had delivered to my work...the card said "Just Because". I LOVE that reason!!!
Jazz vs. Suns...we lost :(

Meg and I decided, after seeing an idea on Pinterest, to make some "freezer meals" to give to Emily for after she has the baby!! You basically make a meal, and freeze it in a freezer bag that can be warmed in a crock pot or sauce pan when you're ready to eat it! We had a blast doing it, and think we'll get together once a month to make these! This time we made breakfast burritos, Chicken and Wild Rice, and Taco Soup!

Classic Skating!
Danny had a wild idea to take the kids to Classic Skating. I was shocked, but kind of excited to go...after all, we used to hang out there a lot back in high school and I was a pretty damn good skater! Well, needless to say, things have changed...I'm obviously out of practice but it was a blast! The kids had fun, we took a Razor scooter for Cali to ride around (this was a new idea to me), and we all got some good exercise while having fun! No one crashed too hard, except when it came to the "Wipe Out" song...Danny and Jalair participated in that one and did very well!
That same day we visited the Bean Museum at BYU. It was very cool to see and learn about so many different animals!
My Dads big 5-0 birthday party!
We wanted to do something big for my dads 50th birthday party, after all, you only turn the big 5-0 ONCE! We had a surprise birthday dinner set up for The Foundry Grill at Sundace. Everyone had their "own plans" going on that night, and mom had told dad earlier that week that she had reservations for dinner for them Saturday night. So we got up to Sundance early so we could decorate with balloons and stuff. We all dressed in black and it turned out way fun, he seemed to be very surprised! Dinner was delicious and it was good to go out with the family for something like this! Thanks to Em and Meg for all their help preparing!

best Valentine's Day yet!!
Danny and I celebrated Valentine's the weekend before the actual day, just because we were kid-less and wanted to spend some good quality time together doing something new! I made us some yummy shrimp alfredo dinner on Friday night, and gave him some AWESOME cupcakes that I had Emily make. They were both darling and delicious!! I talked Danny out of snowboarding (which he's wanted to do for the past 2 weeks) since neither one of us has been in years and I'm so out of shape and knew a day on the hill would be so boring for him. We decided on tubing up at Soldier Hollow and had the best time EvEr!!! If you haven't done this, with or without kids, YOU NEED TO DO IT! Brought out the kid in Danny and I both! After that we went to dinner at Chili's then played poker with some friends. We have the best time together, no matter what we are doing. He's so good to me, and my kids, and I love that so much about him.
