CoRnEd BeEf & CaBbAgE

Last year, Danny & I decided to try out the good ol' Corned Beef and Cabbage meal for St. Patty's Day....IT IS DELICIOUS!!! If you haven't tried it, you're missing out! We make it several times a year now, and love it more and more each time we eat it! It's so EASY to make too....Put it in the crock pot on LOW heat for 6-8 hours and EnJoY! We make red potatoes, cabbage, and this year some asparagus to go with it. It was all excellent!

MISS to MRS bridal shower

Em, Meg, and I threw a bridal shower for Kirsten, Tate's fiance. It was so fun! I must say, we know how to bring it when it comes to party time! :) We learned a lot about Kirsten & met some of her family! I had a blast!! The food was excellent (great job Em & Meg), decor was darling and all-in-all it was super fun!

Final Ice Fishing Trip

We went on our final ice fishing trip of the 2012-2013 ice fishing season with the kids. We went up to Scofield, it was a gorgeous day and fun day to be out on the ice! Everyone caught at least one, so it was a successful trip!

My New Favorite Snack!!!

After learning from a co-worker that you can make salsa year round with canned veggies, I found a recipe online of BLENDER SALSA that I absolutely LoVe!! It is so easy, and so tasty! BUSTED AGAIN!!!

Yep, I caught him napping AgAiN! I don't mind that he naps, except that he doesn't sleep at night if he has a nap....he told me he NEVER naps, so I have to get a pic when he does nap to rub it in his face! LOL
I sure LOVE HIM!!!

Ice Fishing

We took some friends ice fishing at Scofield. It was a blast. SUPER SUPER cold, I had ice on my eyelashes, but it was worth it. Our friend Andy started auging the holes, all of a sudden I heard the plunge of something going into the water and looked up and it was Andy's arm! He had LOST DANNY'S AUGER IN THE ICE HOLE HE DRILLED!!! So there we sat, 4 of us, one hole to fish out of...it sucked! We found some nice guys that came and drilled us some more holes, they said that had happened to them before. Andy replaced the auger when we got back into town, too bad electric ones are so darn expensive....it was a good time, we caught quite a few fish in the 4+ hours we actually were able to fish!
