--Tyerell aka Daniel Boone--

in school, the 5th graders did a wax museum. they got to choose who they wanted to represent, but it had to be someone that has "made a mark" in U.S. history. there was everyone from Shaun White & Steve Young to George Washington & Walt Disney. tye chose to be Daniel Boone. it was really really cool. they had to prepare a 5 sentence speech to give when their "button" was pushed in the museum!!! ((thanks to dad's friend Forrest for the costume))

*Easter 2010*

we had a small, quiet, nice Easter this year. Em and her kids were still in Hawaii, so it was just me & my kids, Tate, Abush and Mom & Dad. We had a little Easter Egg hunt, a super YUMMY ham dinner, and a nice relaxing day! the Easter Bunny spoiled my kids, once again...they got some short outfits, swimsuits, and flip-flops. we colored eggs at our house, with a cool coloring kit that made them metallic!!

i cannot believe it, but Tye is now 11 and Jalair is 9!! i know people say it all the time, but really, TIME FLIES BY!!! for Tye's birthday we went to "Alice In Wonderland" and for Jalair's we went to "Diary Of A Wimpy Kid". they were both great movies....they both wanted to do Chuck-A-Rama for their 'birthday dinner' so we did that as well. they got new baseball mitts, clothes, DS games, movies, books and gift cards (their favorite!!). Tye bought a juicer with his gift cards & birthday money...and is LOVING making fresh juice every chance he gets!!

another chapter in my dating life closed a couple of weeks ago. it sucks, but i'm getting over him really quick...considering he broke it off over text messages!!! oh well.....NNNNNNNNEEEEEXXXXXTTTTT.....im gonna take a dating break until summer! HA

Rock Show 2010

Every year, there is a rock/gem show at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds and my kids seem to always be with their dad on the weekend that it's here. Well, this year it worked out....I had the kids on the weekend of the show. Tye & Jalair both love rocks and so we made a trip. It was very fun!!! The kids got a bag of rocks, saw some minerals that glowed and were fluorescent under black lights, and saw some dinosaur models. It was a really fun time, and apparently is quite a big deal!! We'll be sure to catch the next one!!!

VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

this is the FIRST year in many that i've actually been excited for Valentine's Day!!! Tommy & I spent the weekend up in Riverton & Tommy and his sister's boyfriend went on a "secret mission" while us girls went shopping. We had a super yummy steak dinner on Saturday then on Valentine's day morning, Tommy walked in the door with 2 dozen roses, balloons, and a YUMMY box of carmels!! he is so good to me!!!!

...i hate to do it, but i've got to brag...

so many of you know, ive been single for a LoNg lOnG LoNg time. i have used many dating websites, been set-up with many men, and just havent had much luck in the dating field. well, i decided to give the online thing ONE LAST CHANCE!!! and to my surprise, i have found the NeAtEsT man EVER!!! we met on January 1st, but have been talking since the middle of December. i couldnt ask for anything more....he's employed, has his own vehicles, is tall, has some ink, has his head on straight, doesnt have any addictions, and treats me & my kids like we're gold...and we are, so that's a great move on his part! hahahahah anyway, his name is Tommy and we just love him to death!! im sure you'll hear lots more about him, and just wanted to give you a 'preview' of who im talking about! :D
