Jalair chose to be baptized this year, after turning 8 years old! she wanted uncle Tate to do it, and it was an awesome day. Grandma Jones did a talk on baptism, then Tate baptized Jalair then Great Grandma Abel spoke on the holy ghost and Grandpa Jones confirmed her. It was a really neat day. Uncle Jerry, aka Bishop Hill, conducted the meeting and so it was a family event all around! they announced in church that she was the newest member of the 19th ward, and she sure felt special to hear that in sacrament meeting. shortly after they announced that, they passed the sacrament and Jaja asked if it was 'like halftime'. she makes me giggle! i love her to death and am sure proud of the young girl she is and the decisions she makes!
